Leucine, vitamin B6 and niacin in combination form a fine, white to cream-colored powder, which we offer in practical capsules.
The capsule shell consists of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, a vegetable cellulose. This type of capsule shell has no influence on the taste or effectiveness of leucine, vitamin B6 and niacin and is therefore particularly suitable for food supplements.
The capsules themselves are smooth and easy to swallow. They are designed to dissolve in the stomach and release leucine, vitamin B6 and niacin quickly into the digestive system. This ensures optimal bioavailability and utilization of leucine, vitamin B6 and niacin by the body.
Our neotes Lambda plus is available in different pack sizes. The glass jar with 60 capsules is sufficient for 15 days. If you opt for the bundle, you will receive 3 glass jars containing a total of 180 capsules, which are sufficient for a period of 45 days.
The 3 BIG Lambda jars with 360 capsules are sufficient for 90 days.
To ensure that you can take your lambda plus capsules continuously, we recommend that you place your order in good time and allow for our delivery window of 1-3 working days. This way you will receive your capsules on time to take and can continue without interruption.
In capsule form, both leucine, vitamin B6 and niacin are usually tasteless, as the capsule shell prevents the taste of the ingredients from being perceived. However, when taken in powder form or as a liquid supplement, both can have a specific taste.
In its pure form, leucine has a slightly sweet taste, which can be unpleasant for some people. This is due to its chemical structure and properties as one of the branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs).
Vitamin B6, in powder form or as a liquid supplement, can have a slightly bitter or earthy taste. This is due to its chemical properties and its role as an essential vitamin.
Niacin, also known as vitamin B3, can have a distinctive bitter taste in its pure form. This is due to its chemical structure and the properties that characterize it as an essential vitamin.
However, it is important to mention that the perception of taste can vary from person to person.
We recommend taking 2 capsules of neotes Lambda plus (2250 mg leucine, 12 mg vitamin B6 and 4 mg niacin) daily in the morning and 2 capsules in the evening without chewing, with sufficient liquid and with a meal.
The ideal fluid intake when taking the product may vary from person to person. We recommend a glass of water (250 ml).

neotes Lambda plus is supplied in a jar that optimally protects the capsules from moisture and light. The glass jar should always be kept tightly closed and stored in a cool, dry place away from light in order to preserve the quality of the product.
Just like our calcium alpha-ketoglutarate capsules, the travel jar of our neotes Lambda plus capsules can also be reused. To reuse the glass jar, the label can be removed using a simple method. Immerse the glass jar in hot water for about five minutes and the label will come off almost automatically. If any adhesive residue remains on the surface, it can be gently rubbed off with a little washing-up liquid.
Once the glass jar has been cleaned and dried, there are numerous ways to reuse it. For example, you could use it as a mini vase for small flowers or succulents. Or you can use it as a storage place for small items such as paper clips, buttons or jewelry. The glass jar is also suitable as a container for homemade cosmetic products such as creams or scrubs.
L-leucine is an essential, protein-forming amino acid with a branched chain, which is mainly found in muscle tissue and the liver. It belongs to the group of BCAA (Branched Chain Amino Acids).
Vitamin B6, also known as pyridoxine, is an essential precursor of the active coenzyme pyridoxal phosphate (pyridoxal-5-phosphate or PLP, P-5-P). This coenzyme enables around 100 different enzymatic reactions and plays a crucial role in amino acid metabolism.
One of the main benefits of vitamin B6 is its ability to support the breakdown of homocysteine and contribute to the normal synthesis of cysteine. Cysteine is an important component of important substances such as coenzyme A, creatine, glutathione and taurine.
The importance of vitamin B6 for the nervous system is complex, as it is also involved in the synthesis of the protective nerve layer myelin and the phospholipids and sphingolipids, both of which are important components of the cell membrane.
Vitamin B6 also plays an important role in energy metabolism by participating in the metabolic processes of protein and glycogen. Glycogen is a carbohydrate stored in cells that is used for short-term energy supply.
Niacin, also known as vitamin B3, is one of the eight B vitamins. As an indispensable precursor of the essential coenzymes nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP), vitamin B3 is a cornerstone of cellular metabolism. These coenzymes are involved in over 450 redox reactions that are of crucial importance for the metabolism of all cells. NAD acts as a universal energy carrier and is a fundamental component of the respiratory chain – it literally drives the vital processes of our body.
In addition, NAD serves as the basis for the formation of other messenger substances such as sirtuins and ADP-ribosyl polymerase, which control a large number of basic cellular functions. The influences of vitamin B3 thus extend throughout the entire body and affect almost every aspect of metabolism.
Research on leucine, vitamin B6 and niacin is still ongoing and new findings are added every year. Here are some of the statements that have been confirmed by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA):
Vitamin B6 contributes to
- to a normal energy metabolism.
- to a normal protein and glycogen metabolism.
- normal function of the nervous system.
- to a normal function of the immune system (physical defense).
- to normal psychological function.
- to regulate hormonal activity.
- to reduce tiredness and fatigue.
- for the normal formation of red blood cells.
- to a normal homocysteine metabolism.
- to normal cysteine synthesis.
Niacin (vitamin B3) contributes to
- to a normal energy metabolism,
- normal function of the nervous system,
- to normal psychological function,
- to maintain normal mucous membranes,
- to maintain normal skin,
- to reduce tiredness and fatigue.
