Coenzyme Q10 itself is a fat-soluble substance produced by the body, from the group of ubiquinones, and is present in all living cells.

  • Ubiquinone or ubiquinol

Ubiquinone is the oxidised form of coenzyme Q10, while ubiquinol is the reduced form. The body can convert both forms into one another as required. We use stable ubiquinone in our capsules.
  • Targeted coenzyme Q10 supplementation

The coenzyme Q10 used is produced biotechnologically by microbial fermentation using corn as the starting material. Microorganisms convert corn sugar into the coenzyme Q10 molecule in its oxidised form, ubiquinone-10, which is the same form of coenzyme Q10 produced and used by human cells. The capsules provide a consistent dosage and offer a simple way to supplement coenzyme Q10 intake in daily life.
  • Practical daily use

Take 1 capsule daily, swallowed whole with sufficient liquid, with a meal containing fat.
  • Quality-tested Q10 with certificate of analysis

The coenzyme Q10 capsules are tested by independent German laboratories for identity, content, microbiological quality and heavy metals.
  • Coenzyme Q10 capsules without unnecessary additives

The formula is based on coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone-10) produced by microbial fermentation using corn as the starting material, rice flour (Oryza sativa) and a plant-based capsule shell. No gluten or lactose is added. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The reusable glass jar is intended for storing the Q10 capsules.

INGREDIENT & PRODUCT CONCEPT

Why we selected coenzyme Q10.

Not every micronutrient requires a complex formulation. For coenzyme Q10, our priority was a clearly defined ubiquinone form that is transparently dosed, encapsulated in a vegan shell and verifiable through laboratory analyses.

SOURCE Microbial fermentation using a corn-cob substrate
FORM Ubiquinone-10 in a vegan HPMC capsule
ROUTINE 100 mg per daily serving

FAQ

We have the answers

The capsules contain coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone-10) as the active ingredient. Organic rice flour (Oryza sativa) is used as a filler, and the capsule shell is made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC).

The recommended daily serving of 1 capsule provides 100 mg of coenzyme Q10.

No nutrient reference value is currently established for coenzyme Q10 under the EU Food Information Regulation.

The coenzyme Q10 is supplied in the ubiquinone form and is produced by fermentation from plant-based raw materials, specifically a corn-derived substrate. This means that yeasts or bacteria produce Q10 in a biotechnological process using carbon derived from corn, supporting consistent quality and purity.

The formula is based on coenzyme Q10, organic rice flour as a filler and an HPMC capsule shell. No gluten or lactose is added.

The capsules are tested batch by batch by independent laboratories for heavy metals and relevant contaminants. Only raw materials that remain well below the defined limits are used. The current certificate of analysis with detailed laboratory values is available under “Laboratory Analysis”.

The listed ingredients and capsule shell are not of animal origin. The capsules are therefore suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

One jar contains 60 capsules (41 g). At a daily intake of 1 capsule, one jar lasts for approximately 60 days. Three jars containing a total of 180 capsules (123 g) provide approximately 180 days at the same dosage.

This can be done through an individual consultation with medical or nutritional-medicine professionals, pharmacies or a qualified nutritionist. Your supplement routine is considered together with any pre-existing conditions, medication and laboratory values, in order to align doses and combinations sensibly.

If you take other food supplements or medicines, particularly anticoagulants or heart medication, use of coenzyme Q10 should be discussed with qualified medical professionals in advance. This helps identify possible interactions and determine an appropriate overall dosage.

The product is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, children or adolescents. It should also not be taken if you use medication containing warfarin, such as Coumadin.

If you forget a serving, you may take it later the same day. Do not take a double serving or exceed the recommended daily amount to compensate.

It can generally be taken in the morning, at midday or in the evening. Choose a consistent time that fits your routine.

Coenzyme Q10 is fat-soluble. Taking it together with dietary fat or one teaspoon of oil improves absorption in the intestine and may help the 100 mg dose to be utilised more effectively.

We recommend taking 1 coenzyme Q10 capsule daily in the morning, swallowed whole with sufficient liquid. It should ideally be taken with a meal containing fat; alternatively, the capsule can be taken with one teaspoon of oil to support the absorption of this fat-soluble substance.

The best-before date is stated on the jar. When stored correctly, the specified quality is guaranteed until this date. If you would like to order larger quantities, we recommend contacting our customer service team in advance to ask about the best-before date of the current batch.

Store the product in a cool, dry place, tightly closed and protected from light and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Refrigeration is generally not required for capsules and is not recommended by some manufacturers. The product is designed for storage at normal room temperature. What matters is that it is kept dry, cool and protected from light.

Yes. The product can be carried in hand luggage or checked baggage. Keep it tightly closed, dry and protected from excessive heat and direct sunlight.

After rinsing and drying, the jar can be reused to store capsules, tablets, spices, snacks or small items. Alternatively, dispose of it through the local recycling system in accordance with local regulations.

For the coenzyme Q10 capsules, the identity and content of coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone-10) and compliance with the declared dosage per capsule are verified. As with other micronutrient products, batch-specific testing may also include microbiological parameters such as total microbial count, yeasts and moulds, as well as heavy metals and other relevant contaminants. The exact parameters and results are listed in the current certificate of analysis.

The analyses for the coenzyme Q10 capsules are performed by Limbach Analytics GmbH, Arotop Laboratories Mainz, an independent German testing laboratory accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 and specializing in food, fat and oil analysis. The laboratory uses standardized, validated methods and has extensive experience analyzing food supplements.

Yes. Coenzyme Q10 status can be determined by laboratory testing, for example by measuring coenzyme Q10 in serum or plasma using HPLC analysis. Such tests are used particularly during statin therapy or to monitor supplementation and should be interpreted in consultation with qualified medical professionals.
