    Both tests measure total testosterone, SHBG, estradiol and DHEA-S; free testosterone is calculated in each. The Hormone Test for Women also includes progesterone and provides 6 results (5 measured, 1 calculated). The Hormone Test for Men provides 5 results (4 measured, 1 calculated).

    For women and men who want to know selected hormone values – for example to keep track of changes or to prepare specifically for a conversation with their doctor.

    In principle, yes. Hormonal preparations such as the pill can influence the values – so it is best to discuss your results with your doctor. Do not stop taking any medication on your own.

    Following the instructions, you place the Tasso system on your upper arm and start the collection at the push of a button. It collects a small amount of capillary blood for the laboratory analysis – no finger prick, no syringe and no appointment.

    The collection takes place on the upper arm instead of the finger and without a syringe. How it feels varies from person to person.

    Testosterone is best measured in the morning: ideally collect your sample between 7 and 10 a.m. and on an empty stomach.

    If you want to use your progesterone value to assess ovulation, collect the sample about one week before your next expected period. Note your cycle day on the day of collection.

    Pack the sample in the enclosed return packaging as instructed and send it to the laboratory. Please do not ship the sample on Fridays or public holidays.
